Well Deserved Celebration at Claremont Lodge Care Home
While it may feel like there’s nothing but bad news these days it’s important to make the most of the positive news when you can. At our residential care home in Chichester, Claremont Lodge Care Home, there was recently cause for celebration and everybody was more than happy to make a big fuss over it.
Two of our residents, the lovely Iris and Margaret, had unfortunately been unwell with COVID-19. The team did a fantastic job in providing the highest quality of care to the pair throughout their fight with this terrible virus while also adhering to the strict health & safety guidelines necessary to keep themselves and everybody else safe.
We were all absolutely thrilled when both Iris and Margaret made a full recovery and the staff felt a celebration was in order. Everybody knows the best way to celebrate is with cake, so that’s exactly what they did! A massive 7-layered rainbow cake courtesy of Sweet’s Cakes in Yapton, which looked amazing and tasted equally as incredible, was on the menu. It was a huge hit and everyone loved celebrating the health of Iris and Margaret with a slice of cake, after they were treated to the first couple of slices of course!
