A Special Birthday Surprise at Claremont Lodge Care Home
One of the residents at Claremont Lodge Care Home, our residential care home in Chichester, recently celebrated reaching the incredible age of 95! A huge Happy Birthday to Richard from everybody at the Royal Bay family.
The situation over the past few months has been difficult for many people, especially with the lockdown measures putting severe limitations on what is and isn’t allowed in terms of leisure activities. Richard however has been keeping himself busy during this time by letting his creative juices well and truly flow. While showing off his skills with a paintbrush Richard has produced some amazing pieces of art that everybody in the care home has been very impressed by!
As a special surprise to celebrate his birthday the team at our nursing home in West Sussex decided to get his artwork framed in order to allow him to proudly display it on his wall. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and Richard said he couldn’t have wished for a better present!
